Beyond Bread is Tucson Born, and such a special local establishment...never had a bad experience here. Ambiance/Cleanliness-It's a busy working bakery cafe...has some well chosen colors/furniture and lighting. It shows thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Never been there when it wasn't busy, but it is always clean. Ample outdoor space for those that like it. 4 stars Service-Never bad, never great...3 stars Food-Last time I went, had the Morgan's Merger- Egg, ham, Swiss, roasted red peppers, red onion on White. Lovely sandwich, reasonably priced. All of the baked goods have been superb....the epi' is my favorite. 4 stars

Beyond Bread is such a Tucson staple when it comes to great sandwiches. I tried the Molly's Crisis for the first time and it was a great summer choice. The sandwich was packed full of delicious turkey and for $13 it's a great deal!! I was even able to add onions at no additional cost. They never disappoint and are always fresh and delicious. My only complaint when it comes to Beyond Bread is that they are only open to 7pm every day which to me feels too early.

I always like Beyond bread. They have a couple good vegan options available. I like the UNReal Ruben, ask for the vegan version. The patio is dog friendly, I enjoy sitting outside. Inside can become a bit of a zoo during peak lunch hour. Sometimes when the line is too long, I grab a table outside and order online. Saves me from having to stand in line. I do wish they had a bigger variety of chips, but that's a minor issue for me.

Great bakery that serves up a large variety of sandwiches and sweet baked goods. My friends and I ordered sandwiches to-go for a hike, and they were packed with fresh, tasty ingredients. When ordering, pay attention to some of the menu icons - I appreciated that there was even a little tooth icon that indicated crusty bread (which indeed, my Bart's Bag sandwich with baguette was a bit harder to bite through, but very delicious!). The bakery also sells different sweet baked goods ranging from muffins to cookies to cakes. Their cakes and turnovers looked popular and we noticed they were also selling huge king's cakes for upcoming Mardi Gras.

I'm not a sweet-tooth and say you MUST try the magic bar (cookie with chocolate chips, walnuts, and coconut shavings layered on top). A bit of a long wait on a not-so-busy day (seemingly, anyway) but the hostess was kind and friendly. The tomato soup was nice and tastes fresh, though it came out a bit cold and I'm unsure if that is on purpose or not. It's pulpy with chunks of tomato which I enjoyed. The tuna sandwich was good, just what you might expect. And the Cordon Bleu sandwich also had a nice flavor. I liked the savory and sweet combination. The bread was a bit hard to bite on the crust and im unsure if it was because of the thickness or if it was a little stale as my partner stated, but i didnt mind it. I just broke it off and dipped into my soup. I also enjoyed the iced chai which was sweet jn a good way and actually had a good chai flavor. Im sure I'll stop by on another occasion to try some of their bakery items.

12/22/23. Rainy and gloomy. Makes you wanna curl up and read a book. Mission shopping done so had to replenish. First time here- Christmas Chaos, but they served me well. The ambiance gave me a chance to relax in spite of festivities. The simplicity of my photo will suffice. Rating: 4.48 stars.

I've been to Beyond Bread countless times, and it's safe to say that it's the city's best sandwich joint! Their handcrafted bread, from sandwiches to loaves, pretzels, and pastries, are a real treat. I highly recommend the Avi's Avo, especially on focaccia if ciabatta is too crunchy for you, and Rex's Revenge. The gluten-free options are a fantastic addition. The soups are delicious, and the service is quick in a casual atmosphere. For me, what keeps Beyond Bread at 4-stars instead of 5 is the side options. They're good, but not anything to write home about. During my most recent trip, I got the Brat Special, which is available for Oktoberfest, and it was delicious! The sauerkraut was on point, and the pretzel bun was a great choice. Washing it down with San Tan's Oktoberfest beer was a perfect pairing. The German potato salad, was a little too one note for me, again a good side but not great. It's also a bonus that Beyond Bread offers local beer on tap and some delicious iced tea options. Overall, I highly recommend Beyond Bread for all your sandwich, soup and bread cravings! A great spot to hit for lunch.

On the way home from errands I picked up a pastrami special. $12.5 in Saturdays and Sunday's. It was thinly sliced and tender. Pickles cheese and Russian dressing as well as a side of pasta salad. Best pastrami I've had in a while
